John Henry Homes has received many awards for its innovative designs and merchandising, including the coveted President's Award from the Homebuilders Association of Greater Cincinnati.

In 2006 John Henry Homes was selected by ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to build a house in just 96 hours for a family in need; one of only 40 builders in the country to be selected by this popular show. The team at John Henry Homes overcame the worst weather conditions in the shows history and delivered the Hassel family their dream home ahead of schedule. The employees of John Henry Homes, along with its vendors and sub-contractors donated hundreds of hours to make this dream a reality. The memories and good will that came from participating in the show will forever be a part of John Henry Homes.

Jon and Josh Blatt grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Josh graduated from the Syracuse University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, followed by a Law Degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Jon graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado, followed by a MBA from the University of Cincinnati.

Josh and Jon are very involved in the homebuilding industry and the Home Builder's Association of Greater Cincinnati; Jon served on the Board of Directors for 8 years and Josh served as its President. The Blatt's believe that it is important that we have strong community. Both are actively involved in making Cincinnati a better place to live

Jon lives with his wife Gina, and twin daughters Jillian and Leah and son Sam. Josh lives with his wife, Chrissie, and his children, Sarah, Ethan and Ella. Both Jon and Josh reside in John Henry built homes in Greater Cincinnati.
